The Leadership Conference on Value engages financial, clinical, and operational leaders in a collaborative effort to measure and manage clinical quality, financial strength, and patient health. In a reform environment, healthcare organizations must enhance quality and reduce costs to survive. Participants will learn from industry experts successful practices for creating value, and they will participate in interactive educational sessions where they help identify best practices for the industry.
A centerpiece of The Leadership Conference on Value is the presentation of results from HFMA’s Value Project. Guided by a Steering Group of industry leaders, the Value Project will deliver the standards and tools the industry needs to achieve value, including indicators to measure the financial effects of clinical process changes, tools to analyze value in clinical care, successful practices to contain clinical costs, and recommendations for closing the gap between current practice and high-value health care.
At The Leadership Conference on Value attendees will learn from HFMA President and CEO Richard Clarke the results of new HFMA research on how providers measure and achieve value. Deloitte’s Paul Keckley will explain how healthcare value is defined and its role in organizational success. Lee Sacks, M.D., will describe Advocate Physician Partners’ Clinical Integration Program, which has achieved outstanding quality outcomes and cost savings. Breakout sessions examine findings and proposals in depth, and participants will work with influential decision-makers to shape final Value Project recommendations. Delivering Accountable Care invites healthcare financial, operational, and clinical executives to lead the value transformation at this defining moment. Click here to read more.....
