Practicing in every setting where anesthesia is available, CRNAs are the sole anesthesia professionals in the vast majority of rural hospitals and have been the main provider of anesthesia care to U.S. service men and women on the front lines since World War I.“Nurse Anesthetists Week is the ideal time to launch this new initiative,” said Brandy Pearson, Somnia’s national director of recruitment. “Through this contest, we recognize all CRNAs, but will honor one who exemplifies the highest commitment to quality anesthesia care and the patient experience.”About Somnia AnesthesiaFounded in 1996 by practicing anesthesiologists, Somnia Anesthesia is a full-service clinical anesthesia solutions partner, providing support in all areas of anesthesia including leadership, recruiting, revenue cycle management, payor contracting, quality assurance, billing and credentialing to hospitals, surgery centers and office based surgical facilities.
