Somnia Anesthesia Managers to Present at 2011 CodingCon

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – November 29, 2011 – Three Somnia Anesthesia managers are among the workshop presenters at the annual CodingCon conference to be held December 1 -3 in Orlando, FL.

Leslie Johnson, the company’s manager of coding, compliance, and education, will present eight workshops for the anesthesia track and will be joined by Jonathan Friedman, Somnia’s chief operating officer. They will discuss several hot-button issues related to anesthesia coding and billing practices, including benchmarking and audits, onboarding practices for new anesthesiologists and CRNAs, and factors that drive reimbursement for anesthesia procedures.
 
Presenting at the cardiology track portion of the symposium will be Vicki Pappas, revenue manager, who will be discuss coding for catheterization procedures, heart defect treatments and electrophysiology (EP) procedures, and other cardiovascular topics.

This year’s CodingCon, sponsored by Coding Conferences, will address a variety of topics designed to provide medical coders, billers and related healthcare professionals with optimum methods and current trends that are essential in driving revenue and improving efficiency.
