Somnia Anesthesia to Join Community Hospital Leaders at National Meeting

August 12, 2011 – Somnia Anesthesia is proud to announce its sponsor participation in the second annual Community Hospital 100 executive management conference to be held October 23-25, 2011 at the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.

This year’s agenda includes 13 educational sessions, 14 roundtables and a MBA half day workshop to help community hospital leaders cross the divide between today’s current system challenges and the expected clinical and payment models of the future. CEO panelists and presenters will tackle issues from clinical integration to hospital-physician alignment and accountable care preparation. Hugh Morgan, Somnia’s director of quality assurance, will lead a roundtable discussion about “Efficiency and Effectiveness in the OR.” The educational program also features keynote addresses from pioneering thought-leaders - Clayton Christensen, Joe Tye, and Kenneth Cohn - who will offer insights on innovating the community hospital model, building hospital culture and physician alignment.

Limited to just 100 hospitals, the conference hosts a national group of community hospital and system senior-level executives – CEOs, Presidents, Administrators, CFOs, COOs, CNOs and CMOs from hospitals with 300 or fewer beds.
